2)  Optional Quarterly Review sheet due on Friday, 11/1.  This allows you to take the Optional Quarterly Test during extra help on Wednesday, 11/6.

2)  Optional quarterly review sheet due this Friday, 10/11.  Completion of this sheet allows you to complete the Optional Quarterly test during lunch on 11/6 and replace your lowest test grade.

Clean out binder of all material except colonization.

Homework for Wednesday, October 23

English with Mrs. Wanser:  See Monday's posting.  A reminder that the test on Monday, 10/28 will be on Mythology and will INCLUDE grammar examples from our yellow packets.

Social Studies with Ms. Fisk:
Review notes nightly, take any needed retakes to raise your grade (assessments are averaged for a new grade!) and clean out your binder of Age of Exploration material to keep at home.  All geography and Native American notes should have been taken out a few weeks ago!!!!

Math with Mr. Tjersland:
1)  Mod 3 pg. 3 Problem Set #1-13
2)  Optional quarterly review is due on 11/1 for an opportunity to do the quarterly retake.

Science with Ms. Simonetti:
1)  Castlearning assignment started in class must be completed by 11:59pm TONIGHT.  This is a graded assignment so use your notes if needed.
2) Finish your preparation for tomorrow's unit test.  A Study Guide is posted on GC as one tool to use. 
3)  Extra credit packet is due tomorrow for two additional bonus points.

Social Studies with Ms. Fisk:
Review notes nightly and attend extra help if needed.
Retakes are still available for previous assessments.  Today the Age of Exploration assessments was returned to students.  This assessment will be available for retakes tomorrow.  See Ms. Fisk after class.

Math with Mr. Tjersland:
1)  Worksheet:  Modeling Combining Like Terms using Integer Tiles; follow given directions as modeled in class today.
2.  Today we started Module 3.  Module packets will be given out to students tomorrow.
3.  Optional Quarterly Review sheet is due on 11/1.  Attend extra help if needed.
4.  Optional Quarterly Test is scheduled for 11/6 during lunch.  The review sheet must be completed in order to be eligible for the test.

Science with Ms. Simonett:
1)  Finish diffusion and osmosis packet started in class today.
2)  Continue preparing for Thursday's unit test.  A study guide outline of topics is posted on GC.

Social Studies with Ms Fisk:  Columbus station packet due on Monday, 10/21.  All questions should be answered as well as each document having a Quicklist beside it or on the back.

Math with Mr. Tjersland:  Finish preparing for the Module 2 exam on Monday, 10/21.  Another review sheet is posted for your practice as well as a completed answer key to check your work.

Science with Ms. Simonetti:
1.  What is diffusion? worksheet
2.  Unit test on Thursday, 10/24.  Continue using the review packet as a study tool and an opportunity to earn 2 additional points on your exam.
3.  Extra help will be offered Monday - Wednesday at 7:20 in Room 211.

2)  Assessment retakes are still available.  See Ms. Fisk for assessment exchange.

Math with Mr. Tjersland: 
1)  No homework for tonight.
2)  Optional Quarterly review packet given out in class today and it is due on 11/1. This must be completed in order to take the Optional Quarterly test during extra help on 11/6.

Social Studies with Ms. Fisk
1.  Castlelearning assignment for the Age of Exploration closes tonight at midnight.  You must score at least 70% or higher for this to count.  It will be counted as extra credit.
2.  Finish preparing for tomorrow's unit test on the Age of Exploration.  Study key points highlighted in class today. 
3.  Christopher Columbus document packets worked on in class with be due on Friday, 10/18.  We will have one more class period to work on these.

Math with Mr. Tjersland:
1.  page 92  # 1 and 2 due tomorrow.
2.  CRS # 4 due in class tomorrow.
3.  Module 2 exam next Monday, 10/21.

3.  Read Percy Jackson Chapters 7 - 12 due on Monday, 10/7 with 5 sticky notes ( conflict, action, symbolism, new characters)

Social Studies with Ms. Fisk:
Continue to review class notes nightly.
Any retakes for maps or the first open notebook assessment are still available if interested.
